Good afternoon Larkspur!
I can't believe that March has come to an end! As we spring into April, here are a few things to keep in mind.
Monday April 3rd is our last open house for incoming kindergarteners. If you or anyone you know has an incoming kindie, please stop by and see what LES has to offer!
State Mandated Testing known as PARCC /CMAS is quickly approaching. Please visit our website and click on the state mandated testing tab for more information. On average, students in grades 3-6 will take three 60-110 min tests to assess English Language Art and Math. CMAS is only administered in 5th grade this year. Our students are well prepared for this exam and am positive that they will do an amazing job! Here are some tips as the week approaches to ensure everything runs smoothly
Make sure your Child gets enough sleep prior to and during the testing days. Your child's body and mind needs rest and being able to come to school rested and ready is important.
Please do not send your child to school late or pick them up early on testing day PARCC Schedule
Have your child eat a good, healthy breakfast. Please have your child bring in healthy snacks (bananas, apples, string cheese…)
Last, but not least, come to school with a positive attitude and a smile on your face.
The Happy Camper Book Fair is almost here! Please click on the link

April 10-13, online fair April 1-21.
By now you should have received communication from your child's teacher regarding Parent teacher conferences. These are scheduled the week of April 10th. Please reach out if you have not scheduled a conference time!
Please have a wonderful and safe weekend! As always, please do not hesitate to reach out and thank you for all you do!
