After a crazy week last week, I just realized I forgot to write my blog. I hope that everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend and didn't spend the entire weekend doing yard work!
This past week grades 3-6 did an amazing job completing PARCC, ELA. We are so proud of all their hard work persevering during state testing season. This week, grades 3-4 will take three session of PARCC Math on Monday and Tuesday AM. Grades 5-6 will take three sessions of PARCC Math on Wednesday and Thursday AM. Way to go Bobcats!
Kindergarten and first grade are enjoying their day learning at Stone Canyon today. I can't wait to hear all about their learning! I hear archery is in their future!!
The Book Fair is here! Please stop by all week to check out our amazing Book Fair!
Parent teacher conferences are this week. Please be sure you set up a conference with your child's teacher. Communication from the teacher should have been sent a week or two ago.

There will be a class competition from K-6th Grade. The winning class will receive 1 minute of Recess for each dollar raised by their classroom.
Silent Auction & Live Auction still needs your help. Doing some spring cleaning, set aside any new and unused items that might sell well in our auction or donate any unused gift cards to the auction. For the Live Auction, we are looking for a few more donations! If you have a vacation home/condo or tickets to a sporting event that you would be willing to donate - we would love to hear from you! Either way, you're helping us raise some much needed funds and you'll get a tax donation receipt for the fair market value of your donations. Please contact the PTO at email@example.com with questions.

We have lots of fun with the LES kids in the garden planting, harvesting and maintaining our wonderful gardens! We also are in the beginning stages of planning our 3rd annual Farm to Table dinner, which has been such a fun event for the past two years. If you can bring something to the table, let us know! If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Rebecca Winckler at firstname.lastname@example.org
