Good afternoon Bobcat Families!
We are so excited to announce that we are in the process of hiring a new third grade teacher. Our enrollment is looking a bit above projections and hiring a new third grade will allow for some growth. With that being said, Mrs. Lunsford will team with Mrs. Mole` in 4th grade while Mrs. Eckert will welcome a new team member. We are interviewing this week and our new teacher will start this week as well. Please give this teacher a bit of grace as they will need to set up their classroom and get everything ready for the first day of school August 10th. Please stay tuned....
The 2017-2018 school year is fast approaching. Teachers have been busy setting up their classrooms and getting lesson plans ready for the new year! We are all super excited to meet each one of you at our ice cream social this Wednesday 8/9 from 2:30-4:00. During this time you can drop off your supplies, meet your teachers/PTO and enjoy a nice cool treat!
First day news!
Our first day of school is Thursday August 10th. We will have a superhero theme this year, so please allow your child(ren) to kick off the year representing their favorite superhero. Please understand this is not halloween, but simple superhero T-shirts and capes are welcome.

IMPORTANT Carpool information:
*AM carpool starts at 8:50. There is only one lane, please pull all the way up to the crosswalk and allow your child(ren) out of the car, curb side. All cars from the front of the school all the way down the side walk must let their child(ren) out of the car in order to keep the line running. Once your child(ren) have exited the car please safely pull forward. The next group of cars will need to pull all the way up and then let kids out along the curb. (This allows for about 5-7 cars to drop of their child(ren) at one time). Please watch the adults on duty for directions and do not allow your child(ren) cross between cars. All students will stand in their grade level lines until the bell rings at 9:00. Students have five minutes to walk to their classroom before the tardy bell rings at 9:05. If you arrive after 9:05, you must come in and sign your child(ren) in.
*Please stop for all yellow buses. These are carrying several of our amazing children and have the right away. When you see a big yellow bus it is your responsibility to stop and allow enough room for them to enter/exit Larkspur's driveway and bus loop. Please do not park in the bus loop at anytime.
*PM carpool stats are 4:00. There are two lanes, please pull all the way up to the crosswalk. At the ice cream social you will receive a name tag. Please display this in your car window so teachers can call your child(ren) to your vehicle. If you do not display your name our line will not run as quickly as it could. Teachers will fill four to six cars and wave the first group of cars along after all children are safely in their cars. PLEASE do not move forward until staff has indicated it is safe to do so.
