Interested in learning more about the DCSD budget?
DCSD recently created and publicly published 5 budget videos. These videos teach about the school budget, how the money comes to the school and how the school then spends the funds. This information is critical to know right now as financial decisions are being made and elections are coming. Feel free to watch the videos at your leisure. We will be discussing the videos at our special SAC meeting October 23rd, 4:30-6:30 in order to provide timely and valuable feedback to the DAC on our budget priorities. Budget Videos click here.

*Larkspur Elementary made it in the Denver Post!! Please click here to read all about it!
*As a staff, we completed our first 30-day challenge. We worked hard building our strength and endurance with a 30-day arm challenge and an incline challenge. Our celebration was probably the most challenging to date. DCSD invited all employees to participate at Epic Adventure in Castle Rock. Staff members challenged their strength and stood up to their fears. I have never been so proud of LES staff as we worked together as a team and encouraged each other on.
If you want to join us on our October challenge please visit the home page of our website. We are kicking off a 30-day abs challenge along with our district Walktober Challenges. Please get up and start moving! Our celebration will be held at the Officers Down 5K Family and Community Day. Please feel free to join us and honor our law enforcement! click here for more information
