News from the Health Room
Students should not be contacting parents through their cell phones during the day. If there is a health concern, we require students to come to the health room for an evaluation. At that time the health assistant will call you if there is a concern. Please talk with your children about this process.
What's Up Ahead?
*What are you thankful for? Please join us in our Grattitude Challenge. This season is a time for reflection: to look back on our successes of the past year and to look ahead towards what we want to accomplish in the new year. It’s also a time to think about everything we have to be thankful for: the people in our lives who help us on our journey--our family, our friends, our coworkers, the opportunities we’ve been given and a healthy body! Studies show that the more you give thanks, the happier you are! That’s why we are taking this opportunity to challenge each of you to show us what you are grateful for. The challenge is to take time each day to reflect and write down something you are grateful for.
*We are thankful for all of our volunteers. Teachers and staff have been asked to nominate a superhero volunteer (or two) . Next Friday we will select our first honoree, stay tuned...
*Thanksgiving Lunch, November 15th - Come enjoy Thanksgiving lunch with your amazing kids!
*November 17th- 4th Grade Field Trip to the state capitol. Please make sure you have signed your permission slip and paid no later than Wednesday November 15th.

Thank you for all you do! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any comments, questions or concerns. Have a wonderful weekend!
