Wow! Look at this amazing piece art that Ms. Mindy and Ms. Singleton created with our wonderful students and staff. Everyone was given a blank dot and was able to share a piece of themselves through art.

Schools and families in Houston are still struggling in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, which hit Houston last August and caused major destruction and flooding to entire communities. At what was supposed to be the beginning of the school year, 75 schools within the Houston School District were closed due to the destruction caused by the hurricane. Our little school and amazing efforts by Amy Calhoun and our students and families raised over $2,000 to help out students at Burnett Elementary in Houston. Please take a moment to read the article in DCSD News and a thank you letter from Amy Calhoun. We appreciate all your help and generosity!
